Why is sleep so important?

Melatonin is produced by the organism in the pineal gland in the brain. It controls our sleep-wake rhythm. During the day, melatonin release from the brain is greatly reduced because of the intensity of the light. In the dark, the hormone is released again and promotes falling asleep.

What happens if I take a higher dose than the recommended amount of Melatonin?
The relevant daily dose of melatonin is 1-2mg. If the daily dose is exceeded, this can lead to fatigue the next day.
Are MELATONIN+ Products addictive?
Melatonin is naturally produced by our body and is the body's own sleep signal, which is why there is no addictive effect.
Can I take MELATONIN+ Products every day?
Melatonin does not have any habitual effect, which is why it can be taken every day when needed. However, it is recommended only for problems with falling asleep.
Do MELATONIN+ Products make me feel drowsy or tired the next morning?
We recommend taking one MELATONIN+ Products only if you are able to get 6 hours of sleep, so that the melatonin has broken down in your body the following day. This way you should not feel tired the next morning.
Can I take MELATONIN+ Products during the day?
You should only take the MELATONIN+ Products if you can guarantee at least 6 hours of sleep afterwards. If this is the case, the soft gummies can be taken at any time of the day. Otherwise, the tiredness may continue after waking up.
Can I take MELATONIN+ Products if I wake up in the middle of the night?
The MELATONIN+ Products should be taken 30 minutes before bedtime if you can sleep for 6 hours. You should avoid taking it in the middle of the night, because then you may feel sleepy the next morning – unless you have another 6 hours ahead of you.
